Review: BlackBerry Photo Studio App Republished

My previous post, Review: BlackBerry Photo Studio App, was picked up by Jose M. Ramirez for his Luz Continua online newspaper. This made me feel pumped once more to continue doing what I am doing, which is blogging.

I took some screen shots of Luz Continua but you may visit it here:

Review: BlackBerry Photo Studio App

April 19 is the last day of operation of my favorite free online photo editing Picnik.com then its movement to Google+. Google's social network.

Most if not all of my BlackBerry images here in my blog were usually edited through Picnik, but with this development, I have started searching a good alternative because I am not sure if the accessibility of Picnik in Google+ later would be as easier like It is now.

Good thing I found this one BlackBerry application Photo Studio. Again, I only avail for now the free version but pro is available for a minimal fee. I like the simplicity and the user friendly features of this photo studio app. Features like, frames, effects, change of colors and you can adjust the brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and a lot more.

How to get this, see the following Jiffy screen shots below:
  • Go to your BlackBerry App World.

  • After searching "Photo Studio" in the search box, you will see the choices as the one below. Select "Photo Studio" and download.

  • When download is complete, go to downloads tray and start editing your photos.

  • Simply follow the instruction below. You may tick the "Don't show again" box if you don't want to be prompted again with this message.

  • This is now my raw photo of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the World's Tallest Tower.

  • You can change the effects whichever you think fitting to your photo and you can also add frames to make it more appealing.

  • And these are the final results. These will be saved automatically to your public library. You can save it in JPEG and other common formats and print or post in Facebook.

No worries this time even if picnik will move right now to Google+, I have this cool Photo Studio app already. Very easy and convenient to use anywhere, anytime.

Cheers!

Review: BlackBerry Jiffy Screenshot App

Some of the factors we have to consider in buying a gadget or a technology e.g.: PC, laptop, tablet, mobile or smart phone among others, are its usability, functionality and features. This post is all about BlackBerry application called Jiffy Screenshot. It is a free app that carries enough features I needed for my everyday use. Going pro option is also available with a minimal fee.

Like if you're browsing your Facebook and there's something on your wall posted by you or one of your friends that you want to capture then this app is such a big help.

For those who want some guidance in downloading the app, I can walk you through this easy steps with some of the screen shots I took using the said app. You must be online. (Eeiy, you might ask who's that little creature on my wallpaper, that's my baby boy ☺)

  • First, go to your BlackBerry App World

  • Second, type "Jiffy" on the search box

  • Third, highlight the search result "Jiffy Screenshot Free - Fast and ..." download

  • Fourth, go to your downloads tray and there your Jiffy Screenshot app is now ready to use

  • Fifth, go and try it immediately, by pressing the BlackBerry menu key, scroll up, select "Jiffy Screenshot" and that screenshot will be automatically saved to your picture library

There you go guys, I hope you find it helpful.  Next post I'll be sharing you how to create a BlackBerry photo using a user friendly photo editor app which I have already started exploiting it. ☺

Please leave your comment or share your additional info with regards to the application.

Cheers!

Noli Me BlackBerry Tangere

It's notthat I am conceited that I don't want someone in the workplace or anywhere canjust grab or use my old and obsolete BlackBerry mobile phone whenever they want to. :) First, it isfor personal use only. Second, only minors or make it, only infants don't havemobile phones, because they do not have that thinking capacity yet tounderstand the use of mobile phones. You know what I mean here. :)
One afternoon at work, I made my quick break and went to the loo. After 3 minutes, I am back at my desk then I heard a BBM message alert tone. Afriend of mine said: "what, what can I do for you?” Then I was like,"huh? what do you mean?". "You pinged me first, so what's thatfor buddy?” he asked.
Instead of making a reply, my thoughts were rambling and verybusy, full of light bulbs, popping questions like who the F*&#!made that Ping? Because I'm sure I wasn't.

Possibilities are too many but one thing sure is someone has doneit purposely. Was it meant for a joke or something else? Whatever it was, itjust doesn’t feel right to touch things which do not belong to you. I am aporcupine on this matter. A porcupine doesn't share with anything that is whythey have those thorns all over their body.

I may sound a high school stud with this petty thing, but with this, I am making a simple appeal to BlackBerry Company or to othercompanies, to create an application that can make a phone alarm with itsloudest sound, if somebody uses it. Or something like and electric shock? LOL!

I am not this technically knowledgeableabout the how to's in making applications, but something that could sensetemperature or the skin type of the real owner and that could serve asactivator. This might put a stop to those who can't have their own mobile phone, pinged!

I know, I shouldn't have left my phone unattended, but who's expecting suchkind of thing to happen? I didn't use the Password Security because it’s noteasy to supply the log in details each time my phone buzzes, especially if you're at work where every seconds count.

What do you think of this? Please leave a comment.
