Research In Motion is really looking to tailor its upcoming BlackBerry 10 Jam conference to developers. How is RIM customizing it even more? They are hosting an âUnconferenceâ for the last day of the show on May 3rd, which allows the developer attendees to vote to build their own conference topics. Here’s what RIM is looking for:
On Thursday May 3rd, the last day of the show, we will host an âUnconferenceâ. This gives us an opportunity to work hand in hand with our developer community to build sessions and discussions on topics closest to your hearts. We are asking for your ideas for session topics and to vote on the topics that most interest you. Weâve talked a lot about wanting to engage with the developer community and to show that we are listening, and this is another great way to build on that commitment.
What topics would you like to see discussions on? Iâll give you a topic Iâd be interested in seeing: âMy App is Great, But Now What? â" Making an app a business; the importance of business and marketing planning.â Or maybe one like âHow to Win the Enterprise App Opportunity with Gamification.â
We’ve teamed up with RIM to allow the developer with the best idea for a session topic to win a free pass to the BlackBerry 10 Jam conference and a 3 nights accommodations, provided by RIM. All you have to do is:
Login to your N4BB account to comment (if you’re picked as the winner, we will be able to easily contact you via PM to your N4BB account). Not a member? Register here.Comment with your idea for an “Unconference” session topic!RIM will then choose the best session topic winner by next Wednesday (April 11th). Good luck, we look forward to what you’d like to discuss at the BlackBerry 10 Jam “Unconference”. If you haven’t yet registered to BlackBerry 10 Jam, you can do so here.
